  • Old post I know, but thanks Reuben for that silly/simple & very helpful fix to a prob I was having too.

    Take Care!

km, thanks very much for taking the time. It’s good to hear that, but I remain confused as to why it’s not appearing for me correctly on two different computers in IE8. Are these things ever connectivity-related? I’m in Germany, and our connection leaves a lot to be desired. Seems strange, though.

Thanks again for having a look!

Ha ha, kmessinger, the domain is a test site; the whole thing will be transferred soon to the real address.

So you mean, when you click contact, the contact form drops down and appears normal? Hmm, I’ve tried this in IE8 on two different machines, and it didn’t work in either. This is the only issue I was referring to, but thanks for pointing out the other errors; I’ll definitely have a look. Wow, only 12 errors?! I’m getting better, I guess, lol.

By the way, the above code is BEFORE I changed the image paths to point to the images folder where I put it. Thanks again!

thanks very much to both of you..if I am understanding your advice, then I should clarify that the rollovers will occur as part of an image (a beef chart to be exact) that I want to place in the body of my page…this is not a page menu rollover project. The files generated by Imageready when I saved optimized, consisted of an html document and an “images” folder containing 131 ‘puzzle pieces’ if you will, that make up the background and rollover state images…but where do I put them exactly?

I suppose it is. Perhaps the “my link order” plugin works with some themes (some have said it works great for them, others not) but is over-ridden by something in Atahaulpa. Ugggh!

Thanks so much for trying with me on this, extatix.

That’s just a general category that will repeat the items in my page menu bar because I want them to appear in the sidebar as well. Although I have named that sidebar category, “site pages“, the items that appear under it are designated as links by WordPress, not pages. As such, they aren’t affected by the “my page order” plugin. Hope that makes sense. Forgive my long-winded replies…

ok, yeah, I actually have the “my page order” installed already, and unless I’m missing something, it seems to only deal, as the name implies, with pages..not links. I have been able to successfully use that plugin to easily arrange the items in my page menu bar up top, but I don’t think it does anything with links in the sidebar. My understanding is that that’s what the similar “my link order” plugin is for, but as I said, it just flat doesn’t work! Not for me anyway, and I have read similar things in this and other forums, indicating that others have trouble with it as well.

Any other thoughts? Thanks for your suggestion!

Hi extatix. Wow, thanks for the quick reply!

I removed all the default WordPress categories (meta, blogroll, etc.) The one category that is present there now, “Site Pages” is one I created and the links under them as well. Although I am using WordPress to create this obviously, it will by no means primarily be a bloggging site, so I have removed most of what would identify it as such.
