  • Thanks Leah!

That would be truly amazing. I’m not a proper developer so I don’t have a test site and I freak out every time I have to make changes to the CSS on my client’s website.

I really like Events Calendar and my client does too so if it worked all the time, I’d be over the moon.

    Dear Sudhanshu Dubey,

    Now I’m desperate.

Where do I find the CSS for the Tribe plugin?

Do I have to go to my child theme? Does it involve my hosting account?

    Help?

    Thanks!

    Dear Leah,

I appreciate that there are a lot of themes and that it’s hard to make an application that works with all of them. You do know that switching an entire website to a different theme is a big undertaking — sort of like starting over from scratch?

I’m going to try the fix suggested above and cross my fingers but if Oxygen is a popular theme (and I think it is) you might want to have your developers consider a fix for your next update.

    Thanks for your help!

What do you mean theme conflicts? Does Event Calendar not work with Oxygen? I have certainly been disappointed that the links rarely work. Is there a fix on the way I hope? My client likes her theme and I’m not changing it — nor do I want to lose all of the information on her calendar.

I’m nervous to mess with the CSS. I’d really love it if there were a fix on your end with the next update. 🙂

    Thanks!

This is the bit I paste in?

    #tribe-events-content a, .tribe-events-event-meta a

    Right?

Thanks for your offer but I need to learn to these things myself, right?

Thanks for getting back to ME! I’m not a real developer and though I’ve done some stuff in CSS, I’m not very confident about it.

Do I paste all of this? Where do I paste it? Is that a winking smile at the end?

    Help!

I have a different problem, alas. 90% of the time, I can’t click on the details links on the Events Calendar. I was hoping it was just me (I designed the website) but my users are now complaining too. The links look good — they are blue — but they just don’t respond.

I’m clearly not a real developer so I need help in simple terms.

Here is my page — see if it works for you:

P.S., I am running the latest version of WordPress and have updated Events Calender to the latest version too.

    Thanks!

Forget it! Figured it out. Phew. Guess what? Had to use Chrome to see what was what in the CSS. Firebug not helpful for this. Have learned my lesson.

    Hi!

I have been all over the CSS and I changed the font color on my sidebar widgets before the Oxygen update but can no longer get it to work…

Specifically, I’d like the light gray that is unreadable atop my sidebar widgets (“Groups” “Organizations”) and Mail Chimp sign up form to be black.

Nothing is working! My site is:

Thanks — and I’m a relative neophyte. Sorry. I have read all other related posts and talked to Bluehost for over an hour.
