You need to find the standard channel url or embed a single video from the channel and the plugin will figure it out from there. Please take a look at the instructions provided on the wizard for the expected format.

It could be a YouTube API key issue. Assuming that you have restrictions on the key. Did you, for example, include the following along with your own site’s domain?
You can renew it with the subscription provided in that plan. If you cancel, you’ll continue to have the lifetime features though.
