Hello, I am experiencing the same thing as anicolac,
I am using the studiopress child theme: Outreach Pro and have attempted to employ the PHP fix listed in the Plugins FAQ. However I cannot find the function that is used to insert the featured image in the blog page.
Any insight on how I can resolve this issue?

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Scroll to ID not working from one page to the nextThanks so much for your help.
I added the chunk of code you provided & I think that will do the trick. There’s a little lag but, I can live with that for now.
Logic tells me that I could just speed up the portfolio animation a bit & then lower the number in the line of code you provided me & it should be a less noticeable brain freeze. But, I’ll leave that one for another day.
Thanks again for making the plugin & your help on this issue. Will mark as resolved now.

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Scroll to ID not working from one page to the nextThanks so much for your help. I implemented the solution you suggested & it helped some. It’s no longer bouncing from the “services” to the “portfolio” section when navigating from a static page (about, contact, etc).
Now the issue is the positioning where it lands when navigating from another page. It cuts off half of the graphic. On the home page it works as desired but, from any other page, it doesn’t. I tried including a min-height value for the portfolio section but, that didn’t seem to do anything. I’d really like to keep the animation for the portfolio so that’s not a desirable option.
any ideas on where to go from here?

In reply to: Good hosting alternative to Bluehost?Siteground is next on my list of hosts to try out, I currently use BlueHost as well. I’ve heard great things about them & they should meet all requirements on your list.
If you google you can read a bunch of reviews to that effect.

In reply to: [WP Store Locator] Plugin not working on iPhone – SafariWe’ve been working it out. Right now Tijmen has written some code that has gotten the drop down menus to work on iPhone, but the search results bit are not working now… so one down, one to go 🙂

In reply to: [WP Store Locator] Store listings in multiple columns below mapThe issue I’m having with enabling the scroll bar is that it’s not apparent there is a scroll bar until the user rolls over the list. For the average user, that’s not intuitive. If there was an “always visible” scroll option, it’d be a bit nicer. Could I modify how this behaves or…?

In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] Testimonial text cut off in widgetThanks Michael, you nailed it. I feel like an idiot for not thinking to do that.
Premium or not will depend on the client. I like the premium functionality that enables folks to add their own testimonial, that could be a nice addition.
Thanks for making what I’ve found to be the best testimonials plugin out there.

In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] Testimonial text cut off in widgetThanks for the suggestions.
The character limit thing was my initial inclination, turned it up ridiculously high to like 500000 but, it didn’t seem to make a difference.
Already have the title linked as well, but that doesn’t seem very intuitive.
I’d really like to be able to either show the whole testimonial in the widget or have the testimonials link to where that testimonial is at on the full testimonials page via an anchor.

In reply to: Please review my siteThere’s not much content to discern how it all fits together so it’s a bit hard to review. Ok scratch that…
I thought there wasn’t much content, but then I realized the content was not just other folks comments as I had initially read the poems? to be. Based on my use of the site, I would suggest doing something to make the content read as content instead of comments. Right now everything kind of runs together…I thought I was reading one post whereas in actuality it was a series of posts.
Also the navigation is a little awkward… in the sense it took me a few moments to figure out how to get back to the main landscape page.
In general I’m a little confused about what the site is about…it seems cryptic (and I was a fine arts major!) Like what does “fingertip touch.” that appears at the top of every page even mean?
My overall feeling is one of perplexity, if that was your goal, well done.

I’d recommend checking out Chris Lema’s post about WooCommerce & ecommerce in general, lots of gems there:

In reply to: Review my Anime Streaming SiteOverall the layout is pretty clean. The logo is a little disjointed with the the various fonts & elements you’ve chosen. I would consider revising that.
On the chat sidebar, the script font & black on red makes it really hard to read.
On the genres pages having such large previews makes it difficult to browse a lot of titles at once. It would be nice if there were smaller thumbnail previews so the viewer could see more on a page.
Also when I just click “genres” it leads me to an un-styled list. I would consider modifying that with maybe a little icon or tile for each genre.

In reply to: My first website!Good job for you first site. In the realm of design I would recommend to make the banner text a bit easier to read. Right now it kind of fades in the background. Perhaps removing the gradient would help some.
Another design suggestion would be to clean up the sidebar widgets as a lot that you have going on there is repetitive (i.e. comments/latest post are the same as the banner running across the top as well as, the stuff under “recent games”)
In regards to driving more traffic to your site, as suggested above good content is the best thing you can do & google tools are also quite helpful. I would also recommend installing Yoast WordPress SEO plug-in:

Have you tapped into the realm of social media marketing? Getting your site out-there in as many places as possible is also helpful. Join communities of gamers & post your link (not in a spammy way, but in approved areas or at least on your user profile). If you build a rep for yourself in the gaming community, folks will naturally want to know what pearls of wisdom you have to share.
