I’m aware, but this is a multisite arrangement and I was trying to avoid network deactivating and then having to go through each site to re-activate (some sites do have API keys installed).
Nevertheless, my main concern was that there was no dismiss button on the notification. Also, it would be good if this could be remembered until logout (or for a similar time) – this way you achieve your goal of pestering people to put in API keys, and give people the option to say “Not today.” 😉
Yeah, I’m aware it won’t work until I enter an API key.
Thing is, I’m not about to go purchasing (or setting up) API keys when the websites in question aren’t even sure to become live.
In short, I don’t want to provide API keys for the websites just yet.
What I have a problem with is that the message can’t be dismissed. It should be dismissable.
