I had this issue myself, it turns out that the issue lies with Internet Explorer 10, not WordPress, I switched over to Google Chrome and ta da it works normally.
I too am experiencing this issue.
I have been unable to add media to posts, with the media page loading but none of the options available except insert media via URL.
I have gone back to a default theme, but this has no effect.
Can anyone offer some advice?
