In reply to: no robots or spiders coming to siteThis just happened to me. I started my blog about five days ago and no traffic. Quite by accident I discovered that the default setting in my wordpress install was blocking traffic.
To fix, to to your adminstration page and choose Options.
On the Options page choose the Privavy subhead. You will find these choices:Blog visibility:
I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers
I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors
Click on the options you want to work for you.

In reply to: error messages appearing in the headerI could no longer sign into my WordPress site. So did a workaround and removed the plug in folders from the website.
Now I can sign in and the unwanted words are gone.

In reply to: error messages appearing in the headerI would like to try your suggestions, but now I can’t log into my editing area. I get this message:
ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.
I am using Foxfire which I have used all along with not problems. I also get the same message when working in Safari
