Problem solved.
It turned out to be an SSL error caused in the process of installing a SSL certificate, so nothing to do with the plugin itself. Sorry for the inconvenience.
By the way: Your plugin is working just fine with special characters in the text.
I cannot see any way of adding a file or a picture here, so therefore I copy the text on under “Edit Counter” here:

Thank you for your message.
What special character? If you mean the German characters in the text it worked just fine with those before crashing.
And the problem is exactly the same in the English version, which does not have any special characters. See this link:
http://andalucia.autentical.com/test/So what is the problem?
Thank you. Sites are up and running again.
BUT: They are full of SSL errors, which is why I was recommended HTTPS REDIRECTION.
Doesn’t HTTPS REDIRECTION work with Multisite?
Do you have any idea why my entire multisite installation crashed upon installing HTTPS REDIRECTION?Thank you in advance.
plugin custom CSS field?
I have not seen any plugin custom CSS field anywhere…
We do I find it?I do, however, think you misunderstood my request: I am not looking to show icons permanently. I am looking to show PICTURES permanently. That is next and previous PICTURES to the left and to the right of the displayed picture.
As a bug they come up shortly in Internet Explorer 11, but disappear again. It would look good to have them permanently shown.
Thank you in advance.

I tried it, but get the same result – or worse; Now wp-admin/install.php will not even open… I am not having much luck with this….
Any ideas?

In reply to: "Invalid nonce." error for everythingWOW. Apparently that worked. Thank you very much.
I didn’t change the name of the directory, but just the name of the last plugin I installed – that was enough to make it Work Again.
Thank you Again.Forum: Networking WordPress

In reply to: 404 mod_rewrite errorI looked through the entire WP installation and cannot find any httpd.conf file anywhere… Where is this?
The 404 error is a very big “404” written all over the screen.
Sometimes it redirects to my main site instead of displaying the 404 error. But is not supposed to do that either…
