Hi,
I have the same problem – after upgrade the detection stopped working.
I am running this in WP 3.8.1
I have deactivated – uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin – did not help
I have also turned the debug on but did not get any messages to admin view (refreshed the page and tried several times)

Page has following things

yes I can translate the “found this helpfull” but the %2$s will always return people/person depending the %1$s value and do not know where to translate %2$s content.
