In reply to: Why Are My Podpress Videos Letterboxed?I was having the same issue. I did exactly what you’ve described, and it fixed it. I just add 16 pixels to the vertical dimension to accommodate the player: in your case, tell PodPress the video is 480×286, and it should work. Yes it’s a little cludgy, but it works.

In reply to: image upload problems in 2.1Hey! Duh, ok I figured it out. I think it has to do with the way Safari handles the CSS.
I resized my browser window to be wider, and the Send to editor >> button appeared. It’s at the bottom of the section, which with a long title and a narrow browser window flowed down off the pane and was maybe being obscored by the Optional Excerpt section.
This seems like a total noob mistake, but I can see how a disappearing Send to editor >> button could trip people up.

chmod a+w wp-content/uploads
This seems like a substantial security risk, but it fixed the problem.
Still having problems adding an image to a post from the image browser.

In reply to: image upload problems in 2.1I upgraded to WP 2.1 and am having a similar problem.
I followed the upgrade instructions, deleting the old files and then replacing them.
First, file uploads were giving me an error. I did a chmod a+w on the wp-content/uploads directory, which fixed that problem.
Now, I can upload files, but I can not post them using the file browser. It’s a new (cool) interface, that gives me the same options as before (Upload, Browse, Browse All). I browse then click on the image I just uploaded, then I get a spiffy new window. Here I see a bigger thumbnail, an Edit link, Show: and Link To: radio buttons, but that’s it. I don’t see a button to insert the image into a post. Right now, I’m getting around it by manually inserting the image into the post using the img button in the visual editor.
Also since upgrading, iTunes no longer recognizes my podpress podcast feed, but I know that’s an issue for a different forum. I would say be wary of upgrading! 5 minutes is not realistic when you consider testing, plugin compatibility, bug fixes, etc.
