In reply to: [Peak Publisher] A sometimes arduous task made simple!Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad the solution works for you.
To be honest, I hadn’t yet tested whether the plugin works with multisite installations. I only suspected it might. Now I’ve tested it and can confirm your experience that it doesn’t currently work with multisite installations. Of course, this will be possible in the future. I’ve added it to my list and will try to implement it soon. Thank you for pointing that out. I’ll let you know as soon as it is implemented.
Thank you so much for your motivating and helpful feedback ππ

In reply to: [Peak Publisher] The details displayed for the user’s plugin are incomplete. Thanks for the clarification. I’ve now released version 1.1.2, which fixes the problem. The short description from the plugin’s main file is now displayed again if the plugin doesn’t have a readme.txt file with a long description. Thanks for pointing that out.

Assets such as banners, icons and screenshots are not supported yet, but is planned for the next two months. I will try to do it as soon as possible.
Other tabs listed in the readme.txt file should be displayed. If this is not the case, please tell me which additional tabs you are missing. Thanks!

In reply to: [Peak Publisher] A sometimes arduous task made simple!Hi again!
Version 1.1.0 has now been released. This new version now supports readme.txt files in plugins, just like plugins on wordpress.org. Among other things, a section for the changelog can be added to the file (prefaced by the line
== Changelog ==). Instructions for creating such a readme.txt file can be found in the WordPress documentation, which also includes a sample readme.txt file.Does this cover the functionality you meant? Please let me know.
Thank you!

The changelog was originally planned for later, but I’m happy to prioritize it for you. I’m still considering how to implement it. Would it be okay for now if the changelog were stored in a readme.txt file, just like it’s common practice for plugins on WordPress.org?

Hehe, all right π In principle, it is also possible to use the Gutenberg editor with a classic theme, but only for the page and post content and not for the theme itself (header, footer, etc.), which is known as full site editing. But you can first convert the content to Gutenberg and then create a new block theme and then switch to the new theme.
I wish you much success! π
HI Bianca,
thank you for your question and great to hear youβre trying out Gutenberg β and glad you like Block Designer!
While it’s not possible to reuse the entire block directly, the element tree of one block can be copied to another. Simply select the topmost element and then copy it with Ctrl+C (Windows) or β+C (Mac). Then, create a new block in the other project using the Block Designer and paste the copied element tree there with Ctrl+V (Windows) or β+V (Mac).
I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
All the best,
HelmutPS: Just in case you’re interested: I released another plugin last month that you might be interested in. It’s still very basic and offers only a little help for creating your own custom block themes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-designer/ just have a look if you want.

In reply to: [Block Designer - Create Custom Blocks for Gutenberg Editor] incredibleThank you for your great feedback! I really appreciate it π
Hi Rob,
thanks for your question.
At first I thought you wanted to create a block and then insert it somewhere with a shortcode, but you mean the other way around, right? You want to create a block that contains a shortcode so that in the block editor you can just insert the block instead of the shortcode, right?
Either would be an interesting feature.
The former you could achieve yourself with some code, but the latter is unfortunately not possible at the moment. I have put both on my list, but don’t know when I can implement them.
I’m sorry that I don’t have a solution for your specific requirements at the moment.

Thanks for your question and feedback. I’m really happy that you like the plugin π
Great that you’ve already solved the problems. Still, it’s good for me to know that there are errors in debug mode. Thanks for letting me know ππ€ I’ll fix it soon.

In reply to: [Translate Wordpress with GTranslate] Encoding issues with custom CSSThank you for your response. In my case I need the special characters because I would like to add an svg data URL as background image. However, of course I can place it anywhere else. I was just hoping I could use the custom CSS field for my custom CSS as well π€ͺ
Thanks anyway

In reply to: [Block Designer - Create Custom Blocks for Gutenberg Editor] Inline BlockHi,
thank you for your feedback and your questions π
Unfortunately, it is not possible to create such inline blocks. But it is an interesting idea. I will add it to my list and check what options WordPress offers for this. However, since it requires a different technology than normal blocks, it will probably not be available any time soon.
Unfortunately, own block categories are not supported by the current version either. This is a feature that will definitely come in the future, but I’m not sure yet if it will be included in the free version or only in the Pro version.
I am sorry that I do not have any solutions for your requirements at the moment.
Best regards,
HelmutI don’t know yet if I would add it. But if so, I will let you know.
