In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Column width issue on wide tableAha, I think I have it for desktop:
.tablepress-id-6 .column-1, .tablepress-id-6 .column-2, .tablepress-id-6 .column-3, .tablepress-id-6 .column-4 { min-width: 190px !important; white-space: nowrap !important; }I had tried the “nowrap” earlier, but it seems that in my case, the 2 “!importants” and the “min-width” instead of “width” were what I needed.
Thanks for a great plugin and the prompt support!

In reply to: [Use Any Font | Custom Font Uploader] Divi fonts no longer availableUse Any Font required turning off Google Fonts. It was a quick 2 click process to bring back the 800+ Google fonts.
Thanks!
I am using nginx and do not see the documentation for how to disable public access to the “.user.ini” file that Wordfence itself created in the root directory.
Please advise on how to mod nginx to disable public access to .user.ini.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Variation of one product NOT showing on email or order pageIt only happened that once … very odd. I did find a variation entered (which indicated SMALL based on our list) so we just used that. But very strange.
Thanks for your help.

Dalton,
Thanks so much for your continued replies!
Well, that’s interesting – I tried hard to get centering to work (had it working somehow at some point – can’t get it back now though). In a way I’m glad to hear it’s not easy – I don’t feel so bad.
Ok, well, if you figure something out and remember this thread, please let me know. And thanks for the “inactive” assurance. I agree, misleading. No worries now that I know.
I love the slideshow – easy to use and simple – that’s what I was looking for.
Ed
I did update it. I’m sure that’s what happened.
So, I added your custom CSS (thanks!) in my theme’s custom code section and it appears to work.
2 questions :
1. When editing the CSS in the “plugin editor” section it still shows that file to be INACTIVE, is this right ?
2. I really would like to center the slideshow in the post. I had it working at one point but now I can’t get it to center. Tried <div align=”center> type options, used margin-left:auto, etc. that I found online but no luck. Do you have a quick suggestion to center the slideshow within a WP page ?Thanks so much,
Ed
This is no longer working … Am I supposed to put the code in the portfolio-slideshow/portfolio-slideshow.css file ? If Yes, is it supposed to say INACTIVE (it does) ?
Thanks,
Ed
Excellent !
That’s exactly what I needed. Added this to the .css and voilà!
Thanks so much,
Ed

In reply to: White screen – tried a million things – HELP!Thanks Sam.
Turns out with all those fixes above it did start working after flushing the cache in Terminal on my Mac … also had been accessing it wrong admin.php instead of index.php which appears the same but is not.
The list above should help others in the future. So glad I’m over this issue …
