Thanks for looking into it further. I’ll look into updating the theme later in the month when I can get back to it. It’s a volunteer organization and I don’t know if they’ll have the funds for the pro version, I’ll check into it. Thanks for the help.

Went back to trying reCaptcha. Here’s the new test page:

Removed hCaptcha keys just in case
Purged cache
Ran test form 2
Checked the reCaptcha box
Hit submit
Now I’m seeing “this field is required” below the reCaptcha box.Next I Disabled all plugins

Retried new test page: same error messageI started trying the regular “I’m not a robot” style and received an error message.
I double checked that I was using the right keys and I was.
I tried using the invisible option using a different set of keys and got an error message.I then decided to try and use hCaptcha instead.
I deleted all the reCaptcha keys, switched to hCaptacha and entered the keys for hCaptcha
That worked until I refreshed the page and then I got both the reCaptcha error message again and the normal hCaptcha box. In other words, both were trying to display.
I tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge, all exhibited this same problem: reCaptcha won’t go away
I deleted all history and cookies from all the browsers and still can’t get rid of reCaptcha
I had someone else try the test contact page and they saw the same thing.Question: am I correct that removing the reCaptcha keys and selecting hCaptcha instead is all I should need to do to get my contact form using hCaptha?
I don’t understand why I can’t get rid of reCaptcha. I tried creating a new form from scratch, never using reCaptcha from the beginning and it still won’t go away. It’s like the form is trying to use both.
I did use the override option to try and force the form to use the selected captcha scheme and that didn’t make any difference.
