Thanks for responding, although I can not get this to work.
The first part for the Page template doesn’t make complete sense to me, and I tested many variations of it, none of which had any effect.
Ok, I figured it out using some php from page.php, as explained in the codex.
Quicktags is a bit broken in Safari, so it is disabled. You can enable it by commenting 2 lines in wp-admin/admin_functions.php as described in this thread:
