    My originals files do NOT have these extra characters. I checked over every folder via FTP in my website folders for the wp-content/gallery
    They all contain the original files, then a folder with thumbs, and a folder called Dynamic. Only the files in Dynamic have these extra characters, as you can see from the log:

    File name “wp-content/gallery/landscape-photo-contest-runners-up-2014/dynamic/Kevin-Hoffart-Kaslo-from-Mt.-Buchannan-Trail-9.jpg-nggid0236-ngg0dyn-140x140x100-00f0w010c011r110f110r010t010.jpg” is too long to be saved correctly in TarGz archive!

    Zip
    Tar
    Tar GZip
    Tar BZip2

    I use Tar GZip

    It is for all of the photos in my Next Gen. I have around 10 galleries.

    oh i figured it out. i used the plain grid and edited it so there are 3 dots and then 10 rows of 3 dots. i ended up needing 30 tiles. 🙂

    hi there,
    how do i make sure my grid has 15 tiles in it? I only had the grid part in the WP tiles tab on default News. I have not gone to the Grid tab and done anywhere there yet.
    is there a link on more directions for this? thank you.

    thank you. yes the legacy short codes did work when i don’t use the page builder.

    but i have just one gallery i need to use in the page builder. i am trying the current short codes from the link you sent. i have a thumbnail gallery so i used:

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”8″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”]

    but that didn’t work.

    So I tried it with no quotes:
    [ngg_images gallery_ids=8 display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”]

    and that worked in the page with NO page builder, but no in the page builder again. I will ask more from elegant themes about this.

    Thank you. I was trying both [nggallery id=#8] and [nggallery id=8], and just forgot to take out #. i took it out and it’s still not working. how do i add the gallery using the nextgen tool in the page?
    i am using a page builder in elegant themes so i wonder if that has something to do with it. because the site is a year old and worked just fine before i recently installed the page builder.

    Thank you. I have about 10 pages with the WP-Tiles on it.
    Do I place the shortcode [wp-tiles posts_per_page=15] on each page? Or somewhere else?
    Can I set the grid to show 20 tiles in the grid options, so I don’t have to place the shortcode on each page? If so how do I do this? Thank you kindly. 🙂
