In reply to: Deleting theme off server?Thank you so much! That worked! I don’t know what happened to our webpage to begin with, but somehow the theme got messed up and I had to re-download it from the themify website and re-upload it! Now everything appears to be back to normal. Thanks for your reply!

In reply to: Why does website look like this? The plugins I appear to have are Akismet, Facebook Like Box, Jetpack, and Simple Image Widget. My option on here is to select them all and update them all… don’t see a deactivate. For themes, it lists 3 of them: Twenty Eleven, Twenty Ten, and Twenty Twelve. It also gives me the option to select all or each of them and update my themes. Should I select all the plugins and the themes and update them both?

In reply to: Why does website look like this? When I clicked on that link you provided, (I’m using Mozilla Firefox) I got a white page that said “page ok” in the top left. How do I clear the caching on the site? I am very green when it comes to WordPress. By the way thanks in advance.. we are definitely freaking out here!

In reply to: Facebook?I downloaded one before posting this question asking for help. There is a box asking for the URL, so I logged in to Facebook (my personal since I don’t have access to the username and password to log into the Town of Eads Facebook page) and copied and pasted the URL at the top of the browser, clicked save, but it won’t seem to actually save because after previewing website and going back to Dashboard, that URL is now blank.
There are lots of Facebook plug-ins.. just not sure which one is simplest or best to use?

In reply to: Facebook?I just tried it since you asked and that didn’t work. It just shows the very lengthy URL in the textbox and doesn’t actually show an icon or anything to the Town of Eads Facebook Page.

In reply to: Changing background image from a themeI tried themify support and because I used one of their free themes, I am not allowed to get support from them, unfortunately.
I”m unsure of what you mean by clearing both server and local browser cache, although I believe I know how to do the later.
I am guessing there is somebody that knows how to successfully change a theme’s background image on WordPress. Thank you for replying and if you can make anymore suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate it!

In reply to: Why is "private" showing up in title when linking? When I logged out of, and go to http://eadscolorado.org/baxter-agency it has the 404 error message. Have any idea why? The bottom line is http://eadscolorado.org/businesses and going to Baxter Agency is not linking to their actual page http://eadscolorado.org/baxter-agency and I can’t figure out why.

In reply to: "Home" page has 404 error on it- what does this mean?My only solution right now to get rid of the error and widget problem was to make the Government page my static front page for now. But…then nothing happens when I click the “house” icon (home button) to the left of it. Is there a way to make that it’s own new page?

In reply to: Logging in from multiple computers at once? Thanks Josh. Is there anyway I can “assign” a page to them as the user so that they can only edit that particular page? That would make me feel even better!
