Thank you I did and it did help me get part the way there in that editing database I have the old site showing again albeit minus the last 2 years worth of comments (2011-13). However comments from 2009-11 do show. All posts are showing.

Any suggestions on the missing comments?

Is that in the head tag for a particular post or of the entire blog template?
