In reply to: [WooCommerce] Critical error on update to WC 9.5.2further update: I called my host as uploading the backup didn’t fix it immediately. apparently, there was an error in my htaccess also that caused a redirect. It kept pointing to the french site while trying to load the dutch version. So something really went wrong with the update combined with my multilingual setup

Well, the thing is, I do not need the payments gateway as I am a wholesale business. So, in the left-hand admin menu there is always a “1” in red on the payment’s menu item of Woocommerce. If I click on the payments gateway it just shows me buttons with “finish setup” for the different possibilities. However, I am not planning on finishing the setup as no payment is required.

It is super easy but I do really love the flexibility of Woocommerce. It all depends on the business. If only Woocommerce could make everything look and feel a little more modern.

@luizbills I did the update again and now it worked. Not sure what went wrong.
@luizbills Ok I will retest and do more troubleshooting and get back to you. It was really strange. I could just immediately go to checkout. I freaked out and downgraded Woocommerce asap :D.

@andrescifuentesr strange as I asked the original thread starter if he updated and he said he did. Can you confirm it is safe to update?
did you update WPML with the release of yesterday? All wpml plugins? I am asking because i am waiting to update to wordpress 6.7 for this reason.
if you can’t see the update go to new plugin and click on “commercial” and check updates.
