In reply to: [GDPR] Remove Cookie CategoryGood grief. Little wee X on the right side of the box. Duh.
Clearly I’m blind as a bat (or my screen is just too wide). Missed it completely.
More caffeine needed.
Thx.
Matt
I just went through all the files. All but one were empty. I’ve cleaned them all out and run another scan. It didn’t find anything, but in the Scan Detailed Activity window, the following popped up:
Notice: Undefined index: coreUnknown in /home4/rxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceHash.php on line 141
Please advise.

I have a different set of files saying they are not where they belong, and indeed comparing them to a fresh WordPress download, they should not be where they are.
But so many of us receiving such warnings all at the same time? This is not a coincidence.
Just updated to 6.1.12 and I am still getting a bunch of “unknown” files in core. The site appears fine and when I fetch it, Google’s bots see it fine, too.
Please advise.
I too am getting an error using Avada, but not with editing pages. I couldn’t log in.
I get this error:
Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/options/footer.php(1)
Looking at the file, it includes a long string linked to SEO plugin on line 1 of the file. Replacing the file with a backup that does not contain the string clears up the problem, but I’ve disabled the plugin for now.
I’ve got the latest Avada, and 4.5.1 WordPress.
+1
Thanks. This is not really my issue. I don’t actually have a switcher displayed on the website anywhere. US users see price in US$, everyone else will see price in CAN$. The problem is, checkout is sending all pricing information to Paypal in Can$, even for US visitors.
Hi
Thanks for sending this.
Just so I understand properly:
This code would remove the ability of the user to change to another currency, if the site detects they are coming from the US?
I should also mention that the transaction in question was made through Paypal with a credit card, not a transfer from one paypal account to another. Does this make a difference?
Allow Multiple is set to yes.
Client is able to accept paypal payment in US$.
Not sure which FAQ I should be looking at.
OK. Thanks.
For my own reference for the future, what is the recommended method of transferring a store from one website to another, preserving all order data, if I want to make a major change to a website (change the theme, for instance)?
Pardon my ignorance. Can you elaborate on that? Which order IDs won’t match? Between the live site and the dev site? What problems do mismatching Order IDs present?
Good suggestion. I may try that. In the meantime, can you tell me if the customer order import and export CSV extensions will accomplish the task more simply?
