Thanks very much, Big Bagel. That was very helpful!
Cheers,

Thanks Big Bagel — and pardon my ignorance.
Here’s the thing, though: When I started, I accidentally jumped right to website creation — without ever choosing a host server. When I went back and saw that, I figured my website would be non-existent — but if I type in my website address on any computer, a site comes up with the header and sub-head that I created (the name of our newspaper and high school).
The only thing that does not appear is one initial post I filed. Instead, a note at the bottom of the site says: “Nothing Found
Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”
So is there something I need to delete/remove, or can I just head over to WordPress.com, create a site and pay the annual fee to use that same website address I created at WordPress.org?
Again, apologies for being such a newbie. Any help would be much appreciated.
Keith
