In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteThanks WPKube. I’ll see if MailerLite help desk can help me with that. Thanks for all your help!

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteIt now appears that the process is working but not in the way it did when I had it hooked up to MailChimp. I’ve asked a new friend to double check this but it looks like when someone puts their email address into your optin form, it does send that address to the subscriber list even though it lands on the intermediate embedded form for a half second before bouncing over to my thank you page. I’ll let you know when my friend has confirmed this.

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteI”ve just asked a friend to try it on his computer and he got the same response as I’ve been getting – staying on the embed form briefly before skipping to the thank you page.

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteOkay, so I built another embedded form using the default and only change the wording a bit and background color:
https://landing.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/x3b7p4
Then went to “Get embed code”
Then “HTML code”
Then copy and pastedhttps://app.mailerlite.com/webforms/submit/x3b7p4
into my Form Action URL field
Then clicked “Save Changes”
and tried to add an email address and got the same response as I’ve been getting all along. So then I went from Firefox to Safari, cleared my history, and tried it there, but got the same response!

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteI’m sorry that this has turned into a bit of a pain but as per your instructions, I’ve changed the action for URL to
https://app.mailerlite.com/webforms/submit/a6g3g4
but the same thing is happening. It now takes me to the right subscriber form (it’s an embedded form not a landing page) but after about half a second it flips to the thank you page the same way it was before.

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteUmmm…we’re not quite there yet.
When I input an email address via the form, it takes me to my MailerLite sign up form
https://landing.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/a6g3g4
Before, when I had MailChimp, your optin form would automatically fill out the email address field and the new subscriber would just have to click “Subscribe.”
But now that I have MailerLite, it takes me to the form, it doesn’t add the email address into the field, it then pauses for about half a second and then takes subscribers straight to my ‘thank you for subscribing” page
http://martinturnbull.com/thank-you-for-subscribing/
but WITHOUT collecting the email address.
Can you fix this quickly please because now I have subscribers thinking they’ve signed up but haven’t because optin isn’t quite working right yet.
Thanks much!

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteThanks but the form is no longer working.
Can you check a sample page on my website like this one:
and see if you can submit an email address?
I doesn’t work on Firefox or Safari or Chrome.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteGreat news! Thanks for the update. Changing over the ML in your plugin is the last piece i need before I can say adios to MailChimp.

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] MailerLiteThat would be great because I know quite a few people crossing over to Mailer Lite.
Ah! Gotcha! I’ve just tried it and now we’re back in business. Thanks for your patience in seeing me through this. Much appreciated!

Okay, so I’ve run the update and added the form back onto the site. And it appears to be working…however…after the customer has put in their email address and clicked the button, both on Firefox and Safari pop up with a “this is not a secure connection” notice. (Chrome does not.) I can’t imagine anybody’s going to continue with the sign up once they see that. I certainly wouldn’t. Is there something I can do to make that go away (i.e. make it secure)?
I deactivated my form until we could resolve this issue and gave it two days. Just now I reactivated it and now the form doesn’t appear on my website at all! Just to be sure, I checked it in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. I’ve never deactivated and then reactivated a plugin before. Is there something I’m supposed to do or check?
Thanks!Wait, so now I have to download a plug-in and install java script (which I barely even know what that is or how to do it) in order to fix a problem I never even had before??? I like your form but this has gotten way too complicated. I think I need to find another optin form.
Ah! There it is. Thanks!
So you mean under “Style your form”? I can’t see it.
The last three fields under “Style your form” areDisclaimer size
Disclaimer color
