In reply to: [Attention bar] ConflictInstalled 7.0.1 with similar issues. I turned on DEBUG if that will help you figure out where the conflict is. I also tried various options with jscript with similar results. We get the same error even if we set the AB to run as a widget instead of header.

In reply to: [Attention bar] ConflictThe Studio Press (Genesis Theme developers) forum has numerous requests for plugins like yours but they all seem to be incompatible with their themes. The only work-around for their themes seems to be html marquee code. I’m not sure what’s in their themes that would cause the incompatibility, but I sure hope it can be resolve. Thanks for working on this problem.

In reply to: [Attention bar] ConflictI loaded the Attention Bar on another WP site and it doesn’t work on that one either. This site also uses a Genesis Child Theme (www.studiopress.com), but it doesn’t use DCG. It seems there might be an incompatibility with these Genesis themes and AB.

In reply to: [Attention bar] ConflictYes, but i double-checked to make sure. The widget is enabled and my attention bar message is enabled. My site is http://www.fbclagrange.org/. Thanks for all the help trying to resolve this issue. Your widget is EXACTLY what we need on our site, and I’m gonna feel pretty stupid if I’ve set it up wrong or something.

In reply to: [Attention bar] ConflictWe are using Dynamic Content Gallery with mootools. I just switched DCG to run jquery and now DCG runs, but the Attention Bar doesn’t show up. We are also using a Genesis Child Theme with BuddyPress, so there might be another conflict, but no javascript errors are reported.
