What about if i updated the DB on the server with the backed up DB. Perhaps that might solve the problem?
Sorry the home page was initially throwing a 404 error that is what i was trying to fix when i got the error. All the internal pages work just fine they don’t throw up a 404 error.
So it has nothing to do with that.
i only edited the site through the admin system not through dreamweaver. I changes the permalinks to point to http://www.macgen.co.uk/home and then i all went wrong!!
