ah ok the forum converted them so they look the same, but yes I managed to work around this using EXec-php thanks

To clarify, I am actually seeing two issues here.

1. If I put empty <p> tags or line breaks in my editor for presentation purposes these get automatically removed.

2. Let’s say I open a new page and start typing in the visual editor, pressing the return key for new paragraphs etc. When I switch to the code view I dont see any markup at all. This only applies to p tags and br tags, I can see all other markup such as bold and italics.
