    Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! It’s fixed.

Thanks to all for your help and yes henkholland you hit the nail on the head. I removed the Theme Tweaker plugin and hey presto all colour changes made were visible when I was logged in as admin.

Moral of the story – perhaps avoid Theme Tweaker

Now how do I get a clickable image into the heading?…………….. 😉

Sorry t310s_ I have changed back to my rquired colour background #454841 of greeny/grey and that works fine in ie and Firefox when I am not signed into the blog.

If I sign into the blog then the colour change is not showing up. I can’t see anything on the editor page regarding permissions though.

I suppose it must be something to do with the admin user ? Anybody got any clues?

Thanks for the replies but I am afraid I am still non the wiser.

t31os_ the colour should not be greyish #454841 is a sort of dark greeny colour. I have now changed the background colour to #000000 (black) but again the greyish background is still there.

    What am I doing wrong??????

Oh by the way I have cleared the cache on my browser and that doesn’t seem to effect it. The fact that t310s_ also sees the greysih background would seem to prove that it is not my browser causing the problem.
