Hi there,
Be sure your posts have featured images set? If no featured image is set, it has nothing to output. If they are set, then I’m not sure why it wouldn’t detect them.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] Make images link to the post?I’ve added that in the Mailchimp template itself, Mailchimp seems to strip out the HTML around the image sometimes.
I’ll see if I can get that working as an option in a future version.
Thanks,
RobHi there,
Hmm I’m not sure where that’d be coming from, it may be a Pinterest plugin adding it to the image, even though it’s in the RSS feed. I’d recommend disabling any Pinterest plugins to see if it goes away.
Perhaps you can send me your feed URL, so I can take a look.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] RSS with External ImageOh I see, yeah my plugin is using the built-in WP function for outputting the featured image attached to the post, and is not compatible with external featured images and the way the other plugin is making it work.
Perhaps the External Featured Images plugin could be modified to add it’s featured images to the RSS feed, so it does it all and would output the img src properly according to the external URL.
It’d be better to simply add code to the External Featured Image plugin to add featured images it sets to the RSS feed as an option.
Ah nice. It depends on the template being used on the Mailchimp side, glad you got it working.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] Featured image not appearingLooks like it’s working now… I see images in the feed. Perhaps it takes a while for it to update the feed or clear it’s cache?

In reply to: [Sunny] Your plugin shows blank admin bar to non-logged-in usersBy the way, If I deactivate your plugin, the blank admin bar on the public side goes away, regardless of caching, so it is definitely the plugin code adding it.
Hi there,
I see the photos in Feedburner. On the options page, it mentions clearing the Feedburner cache, because it needs to be refreshed to show the images.
Bloglovin is showing the post images as well. I’m not sure where the big Pinterest logo is coming from, when you click on it, it’s giving a 404 not found error. Perhaps contact Bloglovin about this?
