Hello nosilver4u, I have the same problem it seems.

I am using EWW: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/

and trying to use Regenerate Thumbnails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

But getting “item failed to resize. The error message was: The originally uploaded image file cannot be found at”

I check, and it is in fact there.

Any suggestions?
