Resolved:
You need to activate them as plugins in your admin area -> plugins.
This wasn`t mentioned in description of widgets in wordpress codex.
The same problem on 2.6.1
you have to transcode your blog to utf-8, because it is the best standard for all the languages. It would also make your feeds readable in other blogs.
