    @cteduard

So, for #1, actually what you’re doing is an “unsupported” method, so to speak. It is redundant to edit the page with Elementor and add the shortcode onto it. The flow was created to edit the page and possibly insert the Elementor block itself, or another Elementor add-on’s blocks.

In your case, it would be best to return the page to the normal editor and insert the shortcode, as it will cause less conflicts in the future.

This worked, too bad nothing can be customized but so be it 🙂

And for #2, have you tried selecting the “Custom” location for the translations, inside of Loco? This might be the key to your question.

I tries this but it didn’t work. I ended up using a string locator (link) to track the piece of code and edited it. The problem was caused by a part in Elementor Pro.

    Thank you for your support!

@hegenberg your my hero! Thank you, the string locator worked like a charm.

Elementor Pro was the one causing the untranslated problems.

@shaonback2, thank you for your quick replies.

Please consider disabling Elementor and see if that helps.

After disabling Elementor and Elementor Pro, the issue remains the same: screenshot.

#1. Can you please confirm if the cart/checkout page use the Elementor widgets themselves, and not the shortcodes? This will help me reproduce this easier.

I created both pages with the shortcode in Elementor Pro. If I add the cart as a widget it remains the same.

As addition, I have performed a full conflict test for issue 1 and 2. Issue 1 was resolved untill I reactivated the Blocksy theme again.

Issue 2 remained unsolved and will probably be caused by Woocommerce or Elementor. I will request assistance on their support forum if you don’t have any additional ideas.

The page is now open to inspect it if you would like.

    Hi @shaonback2,

I have changed the theme to Storefront and disabled all plugins Except Woocommerce, Elementor and Loco translate.

The English text under the coupon and login section is still there. So it is most likely a Woocommerce or Elementor conflict. Any more suggestions? The page is now open to inspect it if you would like.

The issue with the cart (numbers and amount) is resolved if everything is disabled. I one-by-one re-activated the plugins and nothing conflicted the cart page. Upon reactivating the Blocksy theme the issue with the cartpage returned. Thank you for your help in this matter, I will request support in the Blocksy section for this issue.

    Hi @cteduard,

#2. In regards to this, it is closely related to #1. If you’re using the Elementor widgets, they might override these translations from the theme. I would check for these strings under the Elementor plugin as well.

I also changed the theme to Storefront to see if it is conflicting, but it doesn’t.
I have checked the strings in Elementor, Elementor Pro, Blocksy, Woocommerce, Woocommerce payments and WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips. There are no other plugins I use that could possibly conflict.

    Hi @judagutor,

    Thank you for your answer!

You could try and check if the theme is conflicting with the Loco translation by temporarily switching it back to a default one like Storefront.

I have tried the Storefront theme and this didn’t work. So the theme is not conflicting with the translation.

Another thing you could try is to change any words in English and replace them with the Dutch equivalent, without having to edit the theme file or edit the code manually, through a plugin like SayWhat.

    In the description they are describing that it has to be a translatable string like: _e('Register', 'cm_ajax');

However my string (as the inspector shows me) is a label string, see screenshot. So I don’t think this works because I cannot describe the domain like this example from one of your links.

If you have any other suggestions, let me know 🙂

    Hi @maykato ,

Thank you for your quick answer, I have tried Loco and this works fine for some things.

I also found out that some issues resolved changing the WordPress site language from Dutch (formal) to Dutch.

The description for Coupons ans Account login are still in English although they are translated by Loco. Is it possible that the Blocksy theme is overriding the Loco translation?

@roxannestoltz thank you for your quick answer!

Cache: This did not work, also tried it on different smartphones but unfortunately no change.

Theme: This worked but of course messed up my layout and brought me back to square one. After re-activating the Blocksy theme the issue occurred again.

Anything I can do with custom CCS, I have Elementor Pro? See link for the active website.

Plugin: I have only a few active plugins left because I had prior problems with customizer caused by one of the plugins.

@ihereira, thank you for your answer too! See link for the active website.
