*SOLVED*
In case anyone finds this with a similar issue here’s what fixed everything.
To fix the first problem with the redirect loop we switched the server from IIS to Linux, this stopped the redirection issues.
To solve the blank post.php page problem the solution actually ended up being as simple as one extra line in my functions .php, so always check that if you have this problem!

Alright, the main reason i wanted to change it is for login, i hate having to capitalize it since i don’t have it that way anywhere else, if i can’t do it then if anyone can change it i’d appreciate it, thanks for the responses.
