I was able to fix the code and everything is finally back to normal in my settings. I just had to walk away from the problem, re-read all the suggestions and slow down to take my time to understand what I needed to do. Thanks you for having an amazing forum and codex. Best part of wordpress to me–and there are lots of great things I’m finding with it.

I was trying to change my home and url for ssl and now not only can I not log back into WP to the dashboard (wouldn’t it be wonderfully easy to fix this mess up if I could), but my website now looks like an outline (I’m told this means a broken link…ya think?) I was given the SSL URL through my ipage account. Changed the Url and Home in WP from http://www.artifyprojects.com to https://snwindustriescom.ipage.com/artifyprojectsImmediately after that everything went caddywhumpis.
I have gone through my webhost site and gone through my sql database for wp. I followed the directions from the one of the forum questions about and I edited my wp database home and url to the original settings.
now when I go to my website ‘http://www.artifyprojects.com’ I get the page that looks like an outline/index page. I also cannot log in to the wp admin page/dashboard through Google Chrome–cannot even get the login prompts and get this redirect: ‘http://snwindustries.com.ipage.com/artifyprojects/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.artifyprojects.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1’
snwindustries.com is my parent website through ipage but artifyproject.com is it’s own domain name. HELP. I have put a lot of work into artifyprojects.com and I am very frustrated.
I’m an artist, not a programmer, but I am fairly smart and try to do what I read posted. Maybe I’m too smart for my own good, huh?
