In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Formatting Issue – Extra Blank Lines AppearingI found the fix. I removed all of the CRLF characters in my message body code. Using notepad++ in Extended Search mode, I replaced all \r\n with nothing. The emails look fine now.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Formatting Issue – Extra Blank Lines AppearingHere is some more info regarding this issue.
- This is how an email should appear. This one was sent as a test on February 8, 2025.
- This image is from March 3, 2025. This issue started sometime in between those two dates.
- As a test, I ticked off “Use HTML content type”.
- I copied the test from image 3 and saved it as an html file. The spacing is fine.

Changed the theme
Rolled WP back to v 6.6.2I will gladly give you admin access to a fresh copy of the cloned site to help resolve this issue. Is there a way to give you the credentials outside of this forum?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Formatting Issue – Extra Blank Lines AppearingI am also seeing this issue. All was working well on Feb 8 this year. Sometime after that it started inserting mass quantities of <br> tags in between <div> and <table> tags. You can see a sample here:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cjzsvf7jwy0zcfxnjrmtu/Contact-Form-7-Issue.jpg?rlkey=mkpvlvrcrysual2xx3ixhref6&st=e8xst3xw&dl=0You can find it here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/
Click the “Advanced View” link between the tags and rating section on the right. That takes you here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/advanced/
Scroll down almost to the bottom and click the drop-down under “Previous Versions” and select the one you want.
You will need to deactivate and delete 3.3.2, then upload and activate 3.3.0.
One of my sites had the same problem. I rolled mine back to 3.0.0. Problem solved.
I use this plugin on about twenty sites. Only one had this problem.
I’m using Meta Slider Pro. The Chromatic theme used on this site has Flex Slider built into it so I’m pretty sure this is is a conflict. On the home page, http://chrishaymanart.com, with navigation set to filmstrip, the previous/next arrows point down instead of left and right. The “No Conflict” setting make no difference.
Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.
