I have front end access but when I go to click on “Dashboard” after signing in, I get this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 28672 bytes) in /home/content/62/3384662/html/wp-admin/includes/media.php on line 386- This reply was modified 7 years, 2 months ago by djmods.

I also have zero backend access.
🙁I did that and it leads to more errors pointing at plugins.
What was suggested in this post totally did nothing to help.
I do appreciate the help though, but hope the next suggestions work.I really don’t get why this totally disabled my website if all I did was
deactivate the plugin. Why is it designed this way?
Is it a fact that if you start out with wordfence you are screwed
if you want to deactivate it?All I have to do to ruin my website is deactivate wordfence if I don’t want to use it. So basically this is my punishment for wanting to get out of the wordfence loop?
Please explain how I ended up with a broken site now because of wordfence?
Just because I disabled it? Seriously? What does wordfence have to say about this?
I don’t know of any other plugin that will disable your website completely at
a click of a button if you deactivate the plugin.*L
I have that file there already in my WP root directory(wordfence-waf.php)..
This was in it:
<?php // Before removing this file, please verify the PHP ini setting
auto_prepend_filedoes not point to this. if (file_exists(‘/home/content/62/3384662/html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php’)) { define(“WFWAF_LOG_PATH”, ‘/home/content/62/3384662/html/wp-content/wflogs/’); include_once ‘/home/content/62/3384662/html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php’; } ?>I have deleted all that from the file and left it blank.
I have removed all reference to /wordfence-waf.php from .htaccess & user.ini
This is what I removed:; Wordfence WAF
auto_prepend_file = ‘/home/content/62/3384662/html/wordfence-waf.php’
; END Wordfence WAFand still no front or back end access.
Hellpp????
