Is it possible that it’s part of the parent theme that interferes with the establishment of the child theme?

Thanks, the folders are now listed above. I was unclear with the php code. The first section

/*
Theme Name: Coda Child
Description: Child theme for the Woo Coda theme
Author: Northeast Running Services
Template: coda
Version: 1.0.8
*/
```
is only at the top of the style.css file, and
```
<?php
/*
Template Name: Page Template 2
*/
?>
```
is only at the top of the page2.php file.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try. I think I was having a problem with my Child Theme because I go rid of it and things are working now. Now just to slowly add everything back in and see where it all fails. Good times.

I too am looking for this same information. I am contemplating using a plugin like exec-PHP but would rather avoid using a plugin unless it’s really the best way (for people of my limited expertise).
