Again, today, another theme failed to update… this theme wasnt active, so hasnt caused any major problems on my site – but it is still frustrating.
The screen says:
The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.
Updating Theme ColorWay (1/1)
Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/colorway.1.7.zip…
Unpacking the update…
Installing the latest version…
Removing the old version of the theme…
Theme update failed.
An error occurred while updating ColorWay: Could not remove the old theme..
and now when I click on the themes menu link, I get
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
Name Description
colorway Stylesheet is missing.
Can anyone help?
