In reply to: [Polylang] Bad Support Experience – Don’t bother with this plugin“…which I do not believe”. If you don’t believe me, then you think I’m lying. Simple English.
As I said… you had no interest in answering my initial question on here… you just choose instead to take the time to call me a liar. Quality.

In reply to: [Polylang] Bad Support Experience – Don’t bother with this pluginI am not a paid user for good reason. The problem is, if you have non-paid forums, like here, that people don’t participate in… your only resort when a plugin does not work, is to contact the (paid) support. In this particular case, Polylang’s (paid) support was pretty much useless in getting help on this, and they don’t seem interested in resolving this obvious issue (see my other unsanswered post in this forum). Even though it seems to be an easy fix. So as you can imagine, there’s no way I’m going to pay for something that doesn’t work, AND has support people uninterested and/or incapable of helping.

In reply to: [Polylang] www.yoursite.com/?lang=fr instead of www.yoursite.com/fr/To anyone that stumbles upon this… I was finally able to figure out that the option “2. The language is set from the code in the URL” does not show if you do not have WordPress > Settings > Permalinks = Plain. As best as I can tell, this is the only mode that works with Polylang. Since I, and likely others, don’t want URLs like this http://www.site.com/?p=123 instead of site.com/sample-post/… so its not very useful.

I prefer the good ol days when you could email people. 🙁
I’d prefer to send them privately somehow, one isn’t intended to be public yet.
