if u r using leech ftp then thats why.. i get the same i just deleted wp2.6 and upgraded to wp 2.7 and gate different errors on differenlt lines of functions.php too
I am now deleting all the files again including the wp content this time and upload again using a different database and will re-upload wpconfig to see if i can re insert all the tables in the new db
if not then i really dont know what to do except re-upload 2.6
hope it weorks i already lost a 500 person a day website because of trying to upgrade and it bust the whole forum! because the table names were different.
replace the old code with the one i just posted – if that doesn’t work then remove all the widgets except the original ones that were there when you installed.
