    I didnt realise I couldnt close with me name. Ironically, in Australia we generally would consider it rude not to use a name.

    It still changes the location of the name. But I can deal with that.

    Ah thats so cool. The linking still works. I need to try my author name and see if still bumps it down.

    Yeah its not good for me. It also screws up the location of the name I try to hyperlink.

    I like to place the name of my source in a snug position in the top left. Now its just dropping it down and adding some strange text in the codeview window. <sigh>

    I always hate it when something that has been working brilliant for me for so long gets broken by an “upgrade.”

    I have to manually insert the hyperlink code to keep it in that snug position. <sigh>

    Hey there ESMI

    This does not help me.

    1) I am not knowledgeable in code stuff.

    2) I cant even see any feature in the wordpress hosted blog that enables me to install a plugin at all.

    I admit I am a pure point and click person.

    If you can help out I would be grateful; otherwise I have to ask for a third party to come and log in in my name and try to fix it.

    The bar is definitely a backward step. It follows me wherever I go to other wordpress blogs. I really would like it to be gone.

    My request is if the WordPress folk want to change our public interface, please give us the option to turn it ON, and make it easy to turn it OFF.

    Hey there,

    Thanks. Ive disabled it for one of my profiles, but it wont disable for my other profile.

    Its just so ugly. Its a move to look like blogger.com, the saddest blogging format if ever there was.

    My problem is that I have NO experience with code, with inserting lines of code, etc etc etc.

    I should add, embedded in these comprofiler notations in Counterize are porn site urls.

    G’day Esmi,

    I have removed the last three posts including the one I was working on when the widgets dropped, and converted 4 others way prior to this gliche to draft mode. No change.

    I am still at a loss.

    Suggestions?

    Greetings ESMI,

    I deleted the post that I was working on when it happened. Nothing changed.

    I do cut and paste from Word because its the only way that I know to retain the footnotes from the original essay. Is there another way to do that? I would love to abandon word altogether. NAnd I delete all that junk at the top of the paste.

    So I dont know what to do?
