@abeily: Please put a regular link to the downloadable file, not a user-registration requiring my PayPal account name and name and email to you.
Why do I need to leave my Payment details when the download is free? This doesn ot make sense.
There’s also no “Impressum” (imprint) on the site readily viewable, so this does not create more trust.
So please place a plain link instead.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Multisite Blogs not allowed?I habe the same error, WPMS 3.2 and BackWPup 2.0.
Problem is on private developer website only the 1.7.7. version can be downloaded, and this was broken, too.
Now restoring 1.7.8 from my backups 😛

In reply to: Update Notifier plugin still sending email notices…Please implement reading the real installed WordPress-version from the database, the contents of the $wp_version variable are changed by several security plugins, for good reason!!

In reply to: Update Notifier plugin still sending email notices…Hi,
I have the same problem:
It’s time to update the version of WordPress running at “URL” from version 2.9.2 to 3.0.1.
Please really fix this, disabling security with the above suggestion did not help and is not a solution. I never had version 2.9.2 installed, it was a 3.0.1
As this plugin is very useful if it works 🙂
Cheers, Devstorm
Oh, I am sorry. I will contact him directly.
THanks, your patch works fine, I only modified the line:
$this->AddElement(new GoogleSitemapGeneratorDebugEntry("generator=\"wordpress\""));Can you remove the
get_bloginfo('version')from future versions? All other (debug)info is useful and good advertismement for this great plugin.

In reply to: [WordPress File Monitor] [Plugin: WordPress File Monitor] WarningsPlease see my current posting, as the error messages are the same, I think I circumvented the problem and you can, too.
Just delete the broken serialized array from the database after finding out where it was aborted and rename this file with special characters. On my site, Germany umlauts were the problem! Submitted a bug-report, too.
