Thank you so much, @bianca205 !

Your modification works perfectly for me.

    Dear Anders,
I like to attach a second question regarding the logo-size here:

    If I set

    .site-logo img { max-height: 4rem; }

the logo size increases when sticky. Can I set a specific size for both?

Also, regarding logo-size on retina screens: There is no effect when setting the option in customiser, the logo stays the same size on either screen. How do I get this to work?

    Best,
    Dev*

    Addition:

The same applies to the services as well. And I would guess to the Surcharge/Taxes too?

Can you please fix this to make these strings translatable?

    Dear Anders,

Thanks for your reply! I think that by being minimalistic, Chaplin makes a very versatile theme. Less is often more. But while I appreciate the reduced and very well crafted approach, I think that my question is the one “weak spot” of the theme.

Having to settle with one general style of overlay and text-colors, a user either has to “hack around” this limiting factor by doing the overlay directly in the header-images, or settle with a rather monotone style of heading.

The optimum approach to me would be to have a general standard set in customiser and the possibility to overwrite this on a post/page basis if needed. This would include:
    – text-color for the header-section (including the menu)
    – logo image (to have it transparent/inverted/different as needed)
    – the overlay style/color/alpha-transperency

Maybe you can give this a thought for future releases. For the time being, I will change the text-color with ACF. While I don’t like such a bulky plugin fur such a small purpose, it is the easiest way right now to have the other editors do it.

And because it is almost the 24th …

    Have a good Xmas time!
    Dev.
