meta archive etc are only there if you dont have any content there in the sidebar. As soon as you add anything eg a text widget ( I usually put in a ‘Contact me’ text widget with my contact details ) the default meta, archive stuff disappears as if by magic….Although this didnt always happen before 2.7 vers
