In reply to: [Contact Form DB] Edit rows only submitted by userJust realised, if there is not a way of doing this I can create two pages. I can create one page where the user can see the full table but not edit any of it and then a second page that will only display the rows submitted by that user which is editable.
I think I’m happy with that, so i’ll mark as resolved but if anyone has another way i’d be interested to know.
cheers

In reply to: [Contact Form DB] CFDB Edit Extension – unable to edit table on webpageHello
I have fixed my issue! I dropped you an email also Michael. I don’t know why it works but it does, so I originally copied the code [cfdb-datatable form=”myform” edit=”true”] from the page http://cfdbplugin.com/?page_id=91#edit and I noticed that after putting the code in and updating the page on my website that the edit=”true” remains in bold for some reason, so I manually typed edit=”true” so it wasn’t bold and deleted the bold version. I updated the changes and it now works, I can edit the cells no problem. Maybe it makes more sense to someone else as to why that would cause a problem? It wasn’t a spelling mistake because I copied and pasted the code off the page, I also repeated the copy and paste from the original source to see if it would stop working again (and it stopped working) just to confirm. Anyway it works now, might help if someone else has the same issue in the future?
cheers
Dan

In reply to: Logging in and registeringMaybe its not possible because there is already a user logged in and I’m asking WP to do something that it wasn’t designed to do
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Logging in and registeringYou know how a non-user can normally register themselves is there not a way of adding this link to page – what I’ve done is create a page called register user and I’ve used a plugin to hide this page unless the person using the site is logged in. Now all I need to do is create a link on the register page to the register form (that is normally accessible for a non-user to click on). This way only registered users can register non-users if that makes sense?

In reply to: Logging in and registeringThere must be a way of just putting a link on a page to the register box?

In reply to: Modifying the sidebar (vantage Theme)I don’t think it is theme specific (although I thought it might have been when I made the post – didn’t realise there was an area for specific themes – will take that into consideration next time)
It looks as though customizable meta widget is exactly what I am after. thank you!

In reply to: Modifying the sidebar (vantage Theme)Ok so the side bar I am on about is actually a widget for WP called Meta. Is it possible to edit it so that Entries RSS, Comments RSS and WordPress.org no longer appear but the Site Admin and login/logout do appear?
Thanks
Dan
