I would like to assure you that we are aware of those limits, however we cannot provide more information for now if the limits will be increased. Please use the Web implementation accessible at https://pagespeed.web.dev/.
Regards,
DimitarThank you for the update.
We will perform further tests on our end in order to confirm if the update was the origin of the issue and our developers will be notified.
We are glad to hear that you have managed to resolve the issue.
Best Regards,
Dimitar PetrovHello @generosus,
The issue is caused by the Google API limit that was hit on our end. Our developers are aware of the issue. Please use the WEB version of the Speed Test, and you can try again via SiteGround Optimizer plugin after 24-48 hours.

In reply to: [Speed Optimizer - The All-In-One Performance-Boosting Plugin] 9g cacheHello @camilo517,
This could be caused by the Combine/Minify JavaScript/CSS features of the plugin if the code is often regenerated by specific plugin. In order to fix the issue you should find the difference between the generated files and exclude the script as explained here. If the script is not displayed in that list, you should use a filter:

In reply to: [Speed Optimizer - The All-In-One Performance-Boosting Plugin] PROBLEM UPDATEHello @cuser2,
Our plugin was constantly upgraded and maintained during the last few years. I would recommend you to perform tests by deactivating the plugin’s features one by one in order to confirm if something conflicts with another plugin or the active theme. If your website is hosted on SiteGround servers, please post a ticket from your SiteGround User Area and we will be glad to investigate the issue further.

Dimitar PetrovHello @joshf,
I have tried to replicate the issue, but to no avail. Would you please provide us with detailed instruction on how we can reproduce the issue on our end? Please include all steps – adding the font(already included in your previous reply), defining the CSS and how you apply the font to the text.
Best Regards,
Dimitar PetrovAlex,
I have checked the Google Page Speed report once again and noticed that the images without the required data-src attribute are located at the main top menu of your website.
Please note that the HTML attribute in question is assigned by the WordPress application by default. Our plugin uses this data attribute for the LazyLoad mechanics. If the attribute is missing, the image is not ‘lazy-loaded’.
You should check these images and how the HTML code for them(including the menu) is generated. If the menu is controlled by the theme or a plugin, you can contact the developers of the product for further investigation.
Best Regards,
DimitarHello @webdevwalton,
I checked your website and noticed that not all of the images have data-src* HTML attributes which are required for the Lazy Load features of the browsers. Google Page Speed reports the exact images having these issues. I would recommend checking how these images are added to the posts and if they are not modified by the theme or a custom builder.
Regarding the WebP images, please open the browser’s network tab and refresh the website. Most of the images are served correctly, the WebP files are fetched. There are specific images uploaded in custom directory(/media) that are not generated in WebP. Note that the feature of the plugin works only with images uploaded via the Media Library of WordPress as the meta data is correctly generated in the database for them. Revise the way these images are uploaded and if required, re-upload them via the Media section of the application.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Dimitar PetrovHello @pttony,
We have tried to replicate the issue but to no avail. On our mobile devices the menu works correctly on the homepage. As you mentioned that the issue is sporadic, we would recommend you to contact the theme’s developers and to request more information about the exact JavaScript or CSS file that is generating the conflict. Also, obtain the script’s handler and you can exclude it from the JavaScript or CSS optimizations(Minify or Combine) following the procedure below.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-use-sg-optimizers-filters-procedure/If the issue is not resolved that way, you can open a new ticket from your SiteGround User Area and we will be glad to assist!

Dimitar PetrovHello @jmlclosa,
Please check the SiteGround Optimizer settings and assure that the wp-cron is executed properly. The image optimization requires the internal WordPress Cron Job.
I have downloaded the sample image that you provided and it was optimized as expected on my end:
1.4M tostadas-queso-caramelizado-4.jpegI left the backup feature activated as well:
7.0M tostadas-queso-caramelizado-4.bak.jpegPlease test again and if you suspect an issue with the Cron Job execution, you can open a new ticket from your SiteGround User Area so we can double-check the logs on our end.

Dimitar PetrovHello @melpropel,
The reported issues are caused by the Defer Render-blocking JavaScript feature activated by our plugin. You can exclude the related scripts as explained below.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-use-sg-optimizers-filters-procedure/Alternatively, you can deactivate the Defer Render-blocking JavaScript feature as your application has quite complex queue of scripts.

Hello @daveporter,
Thank you for your feedback.
We would like to clarify that the “Purge SG Cache” button located at the top menu of the application’s dashboard do not display any message as it reloads the page by default. However, if you flush the cache from SiteGround Optimizer > Caching > Manual Cache Purge, a Success message will be displayed. If any issue is encountered, the message will contain a warning.
Once again, thank you for the feedback we highly appreciate it!
Best Regards,
Dimitar Petrov
