In reply to: Remove “Comments are Closed”Yeah, the tag is there – just comment it out or delete it I suppose?

Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Eliminate Comment OptionWell I managed to remove them by commenting out the actual text that appears on the page from “comments.php”. Not a very elegant solution though. I am looking at the template pages now and it looks like it should be reading pages.php since I didn’t pick any other than the default for the template on the page. pages.php has only one seemingly relevant line ” <?php comments_template(); ?>” but I’m not sure that’s the one to change.

In reply to: Can’t load install.phphost is esosoft
can use phpMyAdmin to access database (but of course it’s empty now)
read an old post that said this problem may be due to php Memory. Have asked host to check that and increase if necessary but it seems unlikely. I am successfully running postnuke and drupal installations on the same host with databases set up the same way.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Can’t load install.phpNo problems from host end.
