I was just able to reproduce the error in both HREFLANG Tags Lite and Pro. It was a simple little bug fix.
I’m uploading the new versions now and should be available in ~10 minutes.

This plugin will help you tell Google the locations of translated pages of your content, via the hreflang attributes.

I think it’s great that Eric has pointed out some of the issues with my plugin.
I think you had an excellent idea on how to improve the “Bulk Editor”. I have taken your suggestions and today, I released HREFLANG Tags Pro version 1.4.5.
Thank you again for taking the time to review my plugin, and provide ideas on how to improve it.

Ultimately, as a developer, my goal is to provide the best plugin possible in exchange for whatever amount of my money my work costs.
One of my favorite tools is Yoast SEO. I believe it’s one of the most popular plugins in the WP plugins repository. They have a tool called “Bulk editor”. Here is how it is described:
“This tool allows you to quickly change titles and descriptions of your posts and pages without having to go into the editor for each page.”
Here is the description of my tool:
“Save yourself the hassle of opening each page, post or product one-by-one and use this tool to update all your entries in one convenient location.”
Please tell me how I am being dishonest or disingenuous.
Now, in the spirit of improving my plugin, please let me know how you would suggest this feature to work. I’m happy to give this a look over and improve it.
As for the other issues you have pointed out, I have corrected these bugs and in my latest version 1.4.2, these links work correctly.
Eric, I am very willing to work with you to provide you the software you need.
