In reply to: Version still says 4.2 after updating to 4.2.1I went ahead and replaced all appropriate files in site folder with 4.2.2 – still says 4.2. There is no option in admin to update, reinstall or just recognize the update. Still same problems with wooCommerce.

The user can create an account to pay (“authorize”) the deposit, but after delivery of the service we don’t want to depend on them remembering their account information to log in and pay the remaining amount.
Also, we will want to change the “authorized” deposit amount to “capture” if they do a late cancellation.
But, if there is no late cancellation fee (the deposit), we will cancel that “authorized” transaction and take a card reader on location and charge the full amount, because there are tips involved, and then there would only be one transaction instead of two separate transactions.
(We are assuming that we cannot change the “authorized” deposit amount to the full amount without them logging in – is that correct?)
We know the “authorized” deposit amount will expire on it’s own, but how can we cancel that so their funds are not tied up?
Is there a better or easier way to accomplish only having one transaction on delivery (with tips) but having the deposit held until the we know they will not cancel?Forum: Plugins
