    Yes, I have found the fix. Actually someone else found it for me. in the dashboard, under settings, wp members I had to UNCHECK the show registration form on pages.

    Ok lets try just one topic at at a time to see if I can get some help
    the website under the previous server had numerous plugins, now I have none. when I go to add them I get “Installation failed: Could not create directory”

    In the cPanel file manager I can see them

    home
    public_html
    wp-content
    wp-site
    html
    wp-content
    plugins

    they are set to permissions of 0755
    I do not see them in the admin are of the website anymore and I can not add them
    Please help

    Any idea as to what plugin I could use to change the fields when entering individuals as users? Those fields are different from the the WP members fields.

    I found my answer, it is yes. On the left side of the page is the dashboard, Under the dashboard is a tab for “participants Database” under that is “list Participants” when I open that, if see I can check all participants and select the tab that says “delete checked”
