Never mind, problem solved. Was a combination of messed up .htaccess and incompletely uploaded wordpress core files. Cheers!

Hey,
Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure you read my post correctly… The site was previously working fine. I manually updated wordpress, now instead of loading the site the url directs immediately to the phpMyAdmin panel. It’s not that wordpress is down, it doesn’t seem to be being loaded at all. Needless to say I can’t login.

You’re looking for a ‘magazine’ style theme. Try a google search for that term. I’d suggest Darren Hoyt’s ‘Mimbo’ theme – http://www.darrenhoyt.com/2007/08/05/wordpress-magazine-theme-released/
