Understood. Thank you for your prompt response.
Got it.
Anyone have a solution for this? Every time we try to add an image, we get an error that says, “No editor could be selected.” Are there some other plugins or extensions I need to download along with just the Meta Slider plugin?
Got some help from my hosting provider. Tech worked off the grid to help me with a software issue when he is only tasked to resolve hardware. RackSpace Rules!!!

In reply to: lost blog archive view when returning from trying out new themeSorry. If I use Settings > Reading and use Blog for dropdown (and the slug for the blog page is “blog”, no posts show. However, when I changed the drop down to “Resources” the posts appeared. But… the actual Resources page shows “Nothing to see” and I don’t know if that is recent or has been an issue all along. It, too, had a setting in Custom Field on the page that was tied to the test theme. I removed it, but no change. I’m scratching my head here.

In reply to: lost blog archive view when returning from trying out new themeRyan – Thank you for the prompt response. Well that was interesting. I had checked earlier and “Blog” was the setting for Posts. However, when I changed it to “Resources” for that page, the blog posts appeared. They appeared again when I changed it to “Contact.” However, I just checked and the Resources page is not showing content and the News isn’t either, but I think the News is just to change the feed they had subscribed to. Thanks for your help on this. Any insight into what is occurring?
Daniel – Great! Thank you for the info.
Daniel – Thank you for your response. There was nothing on the Logs Page. In the meantime, I searched the web and came across a recent forum with multisite users who had experienced a similar problem, i.e., could not get a new job started as the solution continually defaulted to the original start screen. You posted a link to GitHub and I downloaded that version and it worked fine. I’ll be trying this out over the next weeks and plan to move on to the pro version. Thanks, Dan

In reply to: Suggestion for a Column making plug-in for multisitesBrazen4 – Did you just download and activate the plug-in or did you have to do any tweaking to CSS> Do you have the use this as the icons in your WordPress Editor, or via the short codes?
I found this statement earlier when researching Genesis Easy Columns:
“Not a Genesis User, I have included the necessary CSS within the plugin. You can activate the optional CSS via Settings > Easy Columns or simply copy/paste into your themes style.css.”Thanks again for your response.

In reply to: Change Header text and tagline just on Post Page – How?esmi – Thank you. I’ll do that. What are your thoughts on the new Genesis Framework sites? Also, is my request unreasonable or will it be easier to do so (change a single page header) using a new(er) theme? Thanks for helping out and for your suggestions. Dan

In reply to: Change Header text and tagline just on Post Page – How?1. Not comfortable.
2. So long ago. I know the theme is nonexistent today.
3. I’m shopping now and am 75% leaning to adopt a new theme (perhaps something from ThemeForest).
4. Based on #1 response, maybe #3 percentage should be closer to 100%, no?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Change Header text and tagline just on Post Page – How?esmi – Thanks for the response. The wordpress URL is bevarly.com. The URL aheadofideas.com just points to the blog post page. And it’s the blog post page header I want to change to reflect that URL name –just that header.

In reply to: Changing a theme to a single site w/in a multi site configThank you Mika. As a novice here, I am assuming you’re stating I can download and activate a new theme for one of the child sites, but don’t mess with the core files of it will corrupt that site and if someone else wants to adopt that theme too, messing with the core files will corrupt both sites.
We ran into an issue where a developer provided two themes/templates for the child sites and customized their styling. Now in order to use certain (popular) plug-ins, the developer said he has to customize the plug-ins to work on those themes and that will co$t us. I thought if we can get the current themes onto the new server and in the network, then we can switch out to a new theme –one that will allow the seamless activation of a plug-in– and work around their customizations/restrictions. Right?
