I will be very interested in this resolution as I have the same problem. http://susanbanghart.com/WordPress/. By following the above steps I was able to create a a Reply to Post at the bottom of the post, but not exactly where I would like it to be. I would like it above the Share/Save button so it is clear it refers to the post above it.
